About the Church...

The Armenian Church of Austin is a mission parish of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America. The Armenian Church is one of the group of Orthodox Churches known as the "Lesser" or "Oriental" Orthodox Churches. In addition to the Armenian Church, these include the Coptic, Ethiopian, Indian Malankara and the Syrian Orthodox Church. Etchmiadzin, Armenia is where the spiritual head of the Church is located. His Holiness, Karekin I is the Catholicos of All Armenians.

We hold our celebrations of the Divine Liturgy at First United Methodist Church at 1201 Lavaca in Austin. Services are performed on the first Sunday of the month by sub-deacon Ken Maranian.  We also have visiting pastors from other parishes perform the full Divine Liturgy for special holy days (e.g Easter Sunday, Christmas, and Blessing of the Grapes).

If you wish to contact us, please call (512) 345-5572 and leave a message. We will get back to you!
